The SG Cyber Safe Students Programme aims to raise awareness of cybersecurity and encourage adoption of good cyber hygiene practices among the young. In support of Ministry of Education (MOE)’s Character and Citizenship Education curriculum, CSA collaborates with MOE and partner agencies such as the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) to develop initiatives and resources to educate students on the dangers of the cyber world and how they can stay safe online.
If you are a teacher or parent with school-going children, you can refer to our educational resource package comprising a myriad of learning resources and activities to engage students in cybersecurity. The resource package has been developed with the support of our partner agencies and Cyber Security Awareness Alliance members. The topics range from common cyber threats and basic cyber tips, to the importance of cybersecurity so that students can better appreciate the benefits of using technology safely.
CSA also supports schools in the conduct of cybersecurity lessons through giving assembly talks or bringing initiatives like the Go Safe Online Pop-up, Mobile Booth, and Drama Skit to schools. Teachers may reach out to us directly if you are interested in inviting us to give an assembly talk or booking the Go Safe Online Pop-up, Mobile Booth and Drama Skit.
If you have questions on how to use our resources or are looking for ideas to engage your students on cybersecurity, please write to student_outreach@csa.gov.sg.
