Cybersecurity Development Programme (CSDP)

The Cybersecurity Development Programme (CSDP) is an 18-month development programme that equips recent graduates and mid-career professionals with cybersecurity skills and knowledge, allowing them to contribute to Singapore’s digital economy and digital government, effectively building the cybersecurity capabilities in the public sector.

In their first three months, CSDP officers will undergo technical training with CSA Academy as well as CSA's training partners, such as the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and FireEye. Thereafter, they will be deployed to one of CSA’s Technical pision for 15 months of On-Job-Training (OJT).

Deployment within CSA will involve OJT in a technical pision, where the engineers will be given opportunities to acquire hands-on experience in areas such as:

  • Malware Analysis
  • Digital Forensic
  • Emerging Technologies
  • Penetration Testing
  • Cybersecurity Solutions and Consultancy
  • Cybersecurity Operations Centre

The technical training will see the engineers acquiring industry certifications, such as the EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Cisco Cyber Ops (Cisco Certified Network Associates). Participants will also be required to take modules under SUTD, and upon completing the 18-month programme, will receive the ModularMaster in Cybersecurity certification.
